The development of the model was based mainly on the review of literature on merchandising, analyzing the types of merchandising: presentation, management and seduction, the elements or factors that make them up, that the authors relate to the increase in sales; then, to later select and regroup them, under a new perspective, to integrate them under a model of management and merchandising audit in accordance with the reality of Gamarra dress shops. The study concludes that the merchandising management and audit model, which integrates elements of three types of merchandising: presentation, management, and seduction, will enable small clothing stores to achieve substantial improvements in merchandising management overcoming operational deficiencies that present and achieve a significant increase in sales efficiency making its performance sustainable over time.La presente investigación tuvo por objetivo diseñar un modelo de administración y auditoría integral del merchandising, con elementos que posibiliten a las tiendas comercializadoras de vestidos, en la zona comercial de Gamarra del distrito de La Victoria, incrementar la eficacia de las ventas. La elaboración del modelo se sustentó principalmente de la revisión de literatura sobre merchandising, analizando los tipos de merchandising: de presentación, de gestión y seducción, los elementos o factores que los conforman, que los autores relacionan con el incremento de las ventas; para luego seccionarlos y reagruparlos, bajo una nueva perspectiva, de cara a su integración bajo un modelo, marco de administración y auditoría del merchandising, acorde con la realidad de las tiendas de vestidos de Gamarra.
