Descripción
Sumario:Higher education faces the challenge of adapting its strategies to the diversity of students’ learning paces and styles. Traditionally, pedagogy has been the predominant approach to teaching, even in higher education. In contrast, andragogy offers a model of self-directed and experiential learning. The aim of this study was to propose a mixed educational model to improve university training, through a systematic review based on the PRISMA protocol. A total of 76 articles were identified, of which 10 were selected according to quality and relevance criteria established by the JADAD scale. The results indicate that the integration of pedagogical and andragogical strategies fosters active participation, autonomy, and the development of critical competencies in university students. It is concluded that a mixed model constitutes a necessary alternative to strengthen the quality of higher education and respond to the demands of a transforming society.
