It was developed a quantitative approach, with the bases of the correlational-descriptive and non-experimental design. The surveys were applied to 91 students and allowed establishing a relationship between the variables. Thus, it was concluded that there is an association and a direct and highly significant relationship between self-regulated learning and intrinsic motivation of the study population.Esta investigación incluye un aporte científico que permitió determinar la relación entre el aprendizaje autorregulado y la motivación intrínseca en los estudiantes del IV ciclo de la Escuela Profesional de Educación Física de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Se desarrolló un enfoque cuantitativo, con las bases del diseño correlacional-descriptivo y no experimental. Las encuestas fueron aplicadas a 91 estudiantes y permitieron establecer una relación entre las variables.
