Sumario:The present research aimed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the game work method in the development of the concept of classification in infants of 5 years of the institution educational divine child Jesus, Los Olivos - 2016. The investigation was of type applied and adopts a design experimental with subtype quasi experimental of cutting longitudinal. The population was made up of 50 students from 5 years, sample was non-probability census, divided into two groups, one control and other experimental constituted both in number of 25 students. Likewise is considered the validity of content by the criterion of judgment of experts and for the reliability, the test Test-Retest. The instrument allowing to collect data was the Likert-type scale. The Wilcoxon signed ranks test was applied to the inferential analysis. As conclusion general, is showed that the method game work was effective, since improved significantly in the development of the notion of classification.
