| Sumario: | In the present work, a reading of the “inventario” of the poetry book Tema y variaciones (1950) and “escultura de palabras para una plaza de Roma” from the poetry book Habitación en Roma (1952), books both belonging to Jorge Eduardo Eielson (1924- 2006). The structure (dispositio) and literary figures (elocutio) are reviewed to suggest that there is a moment in the reading journey that suggests the reader perceive the poem as an object within the sheet of paper. In this way, the poems propose a change in meaning that reveals the awareness of the materiality of space in poetic creation. The main focus from which it starts comes from the General Textual Rhetoric; in particular, the concept of the figurative field is used. |
