El estudio adopta un enfoque cualitativo y emplea el método documental, siguiendo las etapas de identificación, selección, análisis y síntesis de fuentes teóricas relevantes. Este enfoque permitió establecer un marco teórico y práctico que articula los aspectos fisiológicos, técnicos y pedagógicos del canto con las capacidades y estándares del CNEB. Entre los hallazgos más relevantes, se resalta que la enseñanza de la técnica vocal en el canto se articula eficazmente con las competencias del Currículo Nacional de Educación Básica (CNEB), promoviendo la criticidad de las manifestaciones artístico-culturales y la creación de proyectos artísticos. A pesar de su relevancia, el CNEB no incluye explícitamente su enseñanza, por lo que se recomienda integrarla formalmente en todos los grados. Además, se resalta la necesidad de docentes con formación técnica y pedagógica especializada, así como el conocimiento de las etapas de la muda vocal, para garantizar un desarrollo saludable y efectivo de la voz en los adolescentes.

Specifically, it analyzes the relationship between vocal technique and the competencies “Critically appreciates artisticcultural expressions” and “Creates projects from artistic languages.” The study adopts a qualitative approach and employs the documentary method, following the stages of identification, selection, analysis, and synthesis of relevant theoretical sources. This approach allowed the establishment of a theoretical and practical framework that connects the physiological, technical, and pedagogical aspects of singing with the competencies and standards of the CNEB. Among the most relevant findings, it is highlighted that the teaching of vocal technique in singing effectively integrates with the competencies of the CNEB, promoting critical appreciation of artistic-cultural expressions and the creation of artistic projects. Despite its relevance, the CNEB does not explicitly include its teaching, so it is recommended to formally incorporate it across all grades.
