La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la relación entre Síndrome de Agotamiento Profesional (SAP) y Bienestar en un grupo de técnicos de un establecimiento penitenciario de Lima. Para lograr este fin se evaluó a 131 técnicos de seguridad utilizando el Inventario de Burnout creado por Maslach y Jackson (1986) y las Escalas de Bienestar (Afecto positivo, Afecto negativo y Florecimiento) elaborado por Diener et al. (2010). Adicionalmente, se analizaron variables sociodemográficas y laborales. Los resultados mostraron una correlación inversa entre dos dimensiones del SAP (agotamiento emocional y despersonalización) y las escalas de afecto positivo y florecimiento. Y una correlación negativa entre realización personal y las escalas de afecto positivo y florecimiento y una correlación inversa con afecto negativo. |

To achieve this, 131 prison security were assessed using a the Maslach Burnout Inventory Human Services Survey created by Maslach and Jackson (1986) and well-being scales (positive affect, negative affect and flourishing) developed by Diener et al. (2009). In addition, sociodemographic and labor variables were analyzed. The results showed and inverse correlation between two burnout dimensions (emotional exhaustion and despersonalization) and the scales of positive affect and flourishing.
