Resúmenes4 páginas.El anticlinal Naranjos se sitúa entre los cuadrángulos de Jumbilla(12-h) y Nueva Cajamarca (12-i) en el extremo noroccidental de la cuenca Huallaga (Fig. 1), y se caracteriza por tener una forma alargada en sentido NO-SE, de unos 26 km de largo. El presente trabajotiene como objetivo dar a conocer el registro estratigráfico expuesto en el flanco oriental del anticlinal Naranjosdonde se ha cartografiado y evidenciadola sucesión sedimentaria comprendida entre el Paleozoico inferior y el Jurásico.Durantenuestros trabajos de campo se realizaron tres transectas por las quebradasNaranjillo, Aguas Claras y Naranjos,que cortan perpendicularmente al anticlinal (Fig. 1).
