This article makes emphasize in the effect of contingency in the emergence of Chavez and the Bolivarian movement, through the micro-structuring of his path to power. Based on interviews to key actors conducted by journalists and historians, we present an analytical history of five contingency dynamics: the positive impact on public opinion of the February 1992 coup, the formation of a singular revolutionary coalition, the mishaps by the military intelligence, the chance given to Chavez to redeem his the military failure, and the political system’s openness to electoral outsiders. We conclude that there were five elements that paved this path: the movement’s leadership strategy, the tree with three roots, the esprit de corps within the Armed Forces, Hugo Chavez network, and the radicalization of factionalism in the party system.

Durante los últimos años la tala de árboles y los incendios forestales han ido depredando a una gran velocidad nuestros bosques de la serranía peruana, en el periodo 2002-2019 se registró una deforestación total de 1,97 millones de hectáreas, siendo en la región sierra 628 313 hectáreas de bosque, actualmente el promedio anual de la deforestación en los bosques de nuestro país es de 150 000 hectáreas por año. En el 2014, la deforestación alcanzó un pico 177 571 hectáreas de bosques, con tendencia a seguir creciendo, se estima que en el año 2030 la deforestación puede superar las 350 000 hectáreas por año. The objective of this study is to provide information of the climate, of the forest resources and its quantification, to provide basic information that allows us to elaborate the Plan of Handling Integral for the Areas of Reduction of the Forest of Protection Alto Mayo. The study area includes Forests High Premontane and Forests Heaths that correspond to 10 places that are along a pending altitudinal from the 1200 - 1589 m a.s.l. in the Hill Tambo, County and District of Moyobamba.
