Xenodacnis is a monotypic thraupid genus restricted to the tropical high Andes of Peru and Ecuador. Its only species, X. parina has a large discontinuous distribution from central Ecuador to southern Peru. To date, three subspecies are recognized, all separated by geographical barriers that clouded promote allopatric events. The taxonomic affinities of the Ecuadorian population have not been assessed since its discovery in the 1970s at the Cajas National Park in Azuay province. I studied the environmental affinities between the distribution of the described subspecies and the Ecuadorian population bias ecological niche modeling. I found a distinctive ecological niche in the distribution of each of the analyzed populations and also for the southern Arequipa population. This study shows the estimates of emissions from mobile sources in the districts of Chaupimarca, Yanacancha and Simón Bolívar, in the Province and Department of Pasco. The methodology is based on the International IVE Model that estimates atmospheric pollutants based on three components such as: 1) Emission factors, 2) Vehicle activity, and 3) Distribution of the vehicle fleet. It was necessary to collect data from the vehicle fleet in the mentioned area to quantify the components and thus obtain an emissions inventory. The results of the emission of pollutants are as follows: CO is 24 047.31 Kg / day, NOX is 2 309.49 Kg / day, VOC is 1 602.19 Kg / day, SOX is 119.76 Kg / day and PM is 32.81 Kg / day, for a vehicular population of 4,500 units and an average travel magnitude of 527,362 km. The present bibliographic and documentary work is based on analyzing alternatives such as: a management model of social and environmental responsibility for the treatment of used tires in the city of Machala, El Oro province, Ecuador, for which data were obtained statistics from public bodies and official pages. In addition, visits were made to sites where alternatives are being implemented to reduce the problem of disused tires when they end their useful life and thus take advantage of them as raw material. One of the main problems faced by small rural farming units is to develop and implement managerial models that contribute to leverage their natural potential and boost their productive development. In order to mitigate the impact of this problem, a cross-section, exploratorydescriptive, non-experimental and prospective research was carried on, between 2008 and 2011. The main propose of this research was to design a model for autonomous development which integrates the public, private and academic sectors in order to ensure the use of the resources in a sustainable and competitive manner taking into account agricultural practices, water resources, technological park, non-traditional activities (tourism and aquaculture ) and government public policies.

This thesis develops architectural ecological strategies using bamboo and thermal comfort at the Manu National Park, Cusco, specifically for Section I of the Damping Area. The study chooses bamboo as main component to propose ecological architectural strategies that would help the conservation of a Natural Protected Area of worldwide importance such as the Manu National Park, because of its multiple contributions in environmental, economical and social aspects, and because it is a significant part of the native species of the Guadua genus in the Peruvian Amazon. The Manu -mainly the Damping Area- is currently affected by the human action, aggravated by the climate change effects and the financial-residential needs of the population.
