During the medical training years, in one way or another, we have obtained knowledge and have prepared in the best possible way for emergencies and/or natural disasters. In the last 25 years, action protocols have been executed and implemented in a successful manner before endemics, epidemics and pandemics, such as Influenza, Ebola and SARS.What we have been observing in the last 3 months makes us reflect on the reactions before this global emergency and the ethical problems that have emerged due to COVID-19. We are moved and it sparks diverse reactions that to look beyond the initial emotions and generosity.

This article will analyze the Russo-Ukrainian war, which encompasses geographic, political, and pre and post-Soviet ethno-cultural factors between the two nations which share an ancient and rich history, characterized by the eternal conflict for control of the territory known today as Ukraine. These factors have divided the country and its population between the West and the East. This dispute inextricably encompasses questions of national identity and the emergence of new post-Soviet national identities. Making Ukraine a victim of its geography, due to the importance of this territory for the West and the East. Se analizará la influencia de la política de seguridad y solidaridad hemisféricas -o política de seguridad continental- promovida por el gobierno de Franklin D. Roosevelt a partir de 1936 en América Latina (aspecto prioritario de la diplomacia interamericana) en el transcurso -y el resultado- de las negociaciones de paz de la guerra peruana-ecuatoriana de 1941. Así pues, se indagará cómo la implementación de la misma condicionó el devenir de las negociaciones de paz del conflicto librado entre Perú y Ecuador en 1941; y, por ende, las ulteriores condiciones del Protocolo de Río de Janeiro de 1942. La ciencia de la administración ha surgido hace unos 100 años a partir de propuestas teóricas de inspiración normativa. A estas teorías se fueron agregando otras de naturaleza sociológica y psicológica. Luego de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, los progresos de las matemáticas generaron un gran esfuerzo en los teóricos de la administración para buscar su adaptación a la solución de los problemas de las organizaciones y de su entorno. The management science emerged one century ago thanks to pioneer models of normative inspiration. Later, new theories of sociological and psychological nature were added to that body of knowledge. After de Second World War, the uprising of the applied mathematics in business improved the management of the organizations and their environment. Lately, a new stream of systemic nature is generating not only a new kind of business model but of business thinking. In sum, it is possible to state that there are four sources of administrative metaphysics: normative, sociological, mathematical and systemic. We suggest that the research procedures in universities should change in order to incorporate to the traditional quantitative approach, new qualitative ones born from the fountain of the three other metaphysics.
