In the present work I propose that the epistemological positions of Thomas Aquinas and Francisco Suárez can be conceived as complementary insofar as we clarify how knowledge is formed for each one. In the first place, it is necessary to examine the principle of individuation in relation to abstraction in Aquinas. Second, the differences around the same issue are analyzed in Suárez. Finally, both positions are compared to establish two theories that can be conceived as two aspects that complete the same process of our knowledge and can form the basis of a laterepistemology in favor of the knowledge of reality.

The incorporation of morphometric data into cladistic analyses poses methodological challenges, particularly in handling continuous characters and landmark configurations in matrices that include multiple individuals per taxon. Although the program TNT (Tree analysis using New Technology) has integrated functionalities for directly analysing continuous and morphogeometric characters, there remains a need for complementary tools that facilitate data preparation and processing. Neste artigo fazemos um esforço teórico para enfatizar a complementaridade do reducionismo e do enfoque sistêmica. Bem, a tradição científica por muito tempo acreditou que para entender algo a melhor maneira era dividindo-a, ou seja, separar suas partes para determinar como funcionam e a partir daí obter conclusões dos fatos observados. No entanto, a abordagem sistêmica é uma forma de entender relacionamentos e contextos que, claro, está interessado nas partes, mas principalmente em termos de como elas dão origem e mantêm na existência uma nova entidade que é o todo. Portanto, ambas as abordagens são complementares.

El estudio fue de tipo descriptivo correlacional básico, el diseño planteado fue no experimental transversal. La población de estudio fue conformada por 30 madres y sus niños entre 6 a 24 meses. El instrumento fue validado por a través de juicio de expertos, y fue sometido a un análisis de fiabilidad, mediante la prueba de Alpha de Crombach hallado en la prueba de 0.80 la cual demuestra que la confiabilidad de este instrumento es buena para ser aplicado. Objective: To learn about and compare breastfeeding practices, complementary feeding and the nutritional status of preschoolers attending various child development centers in a municipality of Mexico City. Materials and methods: An analytical cross-sectional study which analyzed a sample of 444 preschoolers who underwent anthropometric measurements and hemoglobin determination. Additionally, information on breastfeeding andcomplementary feeding practices was gathered from mothers. The children were categorized into two age groups (13 to 59 months and 13 to 80 months). Results: The average age was 48.4 months, with 90 % having received breastfeeding for an average of 7.7 months and 63 % having started complementary feeding before six months of age. The enunciated principle of two complementary elements from two different civilizations (harmonia oppositorum / yanantin) converges in Eielson’s poetic and plastic work to create. In his work, the city of Rome serves as a platform center that enables him to rediscover cosmological ways of seeing that connect different levels. For this article, we use Habitación en Roma, his articles from the 1950s, as well as statements made in the 1970s, 1980s, and in the 21st century. From the vestige, the creation of objects is replicated in his poetic and visual work and in his procedures with matter. Through this, it is possible to transform and be transformed after reaching moments of ultra-consciousness.

La aortitis se refiere a la inflamación de la aorta, que puede ser de causa no infecciosa o infecciosa, diagnosticándose generalmente de forma incidental tras estudios histopatológicos de piezas quirúrgicas de aorta. Se presentan dos casos de pacientes que acudieron por falla cardíaca y aneurisma de aorta severa, con necesidad de cirugía. El reporte de patología informó: aortitis. Luego de estudios complementarios, se concluyó que se trataba de una aortitis aisladay de arteritis de Takayasu. Se resalta el seguimiento mediante histopatología, en búsqueda de una etiología específica, para ofrecer un tratamiento y seguimiento acorde al diagnóstico definitivo.

This essay studies two works by César Vallejo and, in a complementary manner, a possible correspondence with the Marquis de Sade. In Trilce (1922), the crisis of language is studied through the verbal construction, the eschatological theme and the creation-destruction dialectic based on prison experience. The verbal rupture “frees” the imprisoned poet from jail. In España, aparta de mí este cáliz (1939), the transformation of the cadaver into a project for life is studied from a triple discourse that combines the poetic, the political and the religious in favor of the Spanish republican revolutionary movement. The comparison between the popular God-believing intellectual of the twentieth century and the dix-septièmiste aristocratic-revolutionary pornographer shows two poets of the obscure side of modernity.

As a consequence of the study on the variation of the speed of light with time in the underlying vacuum of natural systems, the concept of acceleration of light arises. From the set of parametric equations that express the substrate or essential kinematics of the vacuum, it is obtained a formula that describes the acceleration of light as a function of time. Two possible opposite directions for the acceleration of light are observed; these directions are correlated with the two possible opposite directions of the local vector quantum. Objetivo. Describir los gastos en medicamentos en los pacientes usuarios de la Unidad de Medicina Complementaria San Juan de Lurigancho durante el periodo de enero a julio de 2009. Materiales y métodos. Estudio descriptivo. Se evaluaron las historias clínicas electrónicas de 40 pacientes atendidos en la Unidad de Medicina Complementaria (UMEC) San Juan de Lurigancho, atendidos en los meses de enero a julio del año 2009. Se calcularon los gastos por medicamentos mediante los costos unitarios proporcionados por el software de Sistemas, Aplicaciones y Productos en Procesamiento de datos (SAP), se calculó un promedio mensual de gastos antes y después de iniciar tratamiento en los servicios de medicina complementaria. The double energy method has been used by several authors to measure the mass (A *) and total kinetic energy (EKT *) distribution of the complementary fragments from spontaneous fission of 252Cf, finding an broadening of the distribution standard deviation EKT * (σEKT *) in the region near mass symmetry (A * = 226). Using Monte Carlo method, we show that this broadening is because for each value of A * an overlapping of distributions EKT * for primary fragments with two or more neighboring masses, respectively, are produced.
