10 April 2016 will be the presidential election in Peru. The media will cover the activities of the leading candidates and rummage in their resumes. In this process, the press will be tempted to use propaganda techniques, a category traditionally associated with political actors. For example, they may appeal to stereotypes, express their opinion through seemingly independent sources and select facts to build an ideological discourse. For its part the press agents of candidates and political marketing experts are hunting for journalists.

The use of antibiotic growth promoters (AGP) is already unsustainable in poultry production and research is being carried out in different parts of the world to replace them with principles that do not generate resistance and provide beneficial actions on performance. Oregano adapts to these specifications; another strategy is the supplementation of digestive enzymes that allow using of food, since the stop using AGP generates decrease in this aspect, among others. The supply, through diet, oregano and enzymes was tested according to the following processes: P1, Positive test (diet with AGP); P2, Negative test (without AGP); P3, diet with 0.005% enzymes; P4, 0.05% oregano; P5, 0.005% of enzymes and 0.05% of oregano; P6, 0.1% oregano; P7, 0.005% enzymes and 0.1% oregano. Objective: To determine the frequency of the stylohyoid complex calcification in digital panoramic radiographs of a radiological center. Methods. The type of study was qualitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective design; 400 digital panoramic radiographs between the ages of 25 and 70 were analyzed. A visual evaluation of the digital panoramic radiographs was performed to assess the type and pattern of the stylohyoid ligament calcification. Results. The 56.8% presented calcification of the stylohyoid complex in digital panoramic radiographs; according to sex in the female group it was present in 64.6%; Regarding the age group, 65.8% presented calcification in adults aged 30-59 years-old; According to the affected side, 71.4% were bilateral, according to the radiographic appearance, type I presented a higher frequency with 50.1% on the right side and 62.5% on the left side. ...

The notion of analytical process is essential to understand the task of theoretical research in Economic Science, because it is explicable only those items that can be expressed as a process. The explanation for a set of social facts related to any economic activity only can be performed with a theory, which arises considering an analytical process. The complexity of social reality must be simplified by abstraction, this requires to recognize two fundamental notions: the aritmomorphic and the adduction. The issues raised in this paper are based on the epistemological proposal developed by Georgescu-Roegen.

Health research is vital for the advancement of science and development in a country. However, researching with ethics in daily clinical practice is a slow process. Several factors play a critical role at the beginning of any investigation: the workplace, the right time, the resources with which it is counted, the number of study subjects that could be involved and even the socio familiar environment of the researcher. All these factors are directly or indirectly related to ethical problems between the doctor researcher and the patient or research subject; even more in countries like Peru, where the low educational level of the population increases a certain position of power of the doctor. Likewise, the appearance of new areas in Medicine such as palliative care, assisted human reproduction, gene therapy and tissue engineering make this pairing even more complex.

Gender roles have been redefining their place in society, and this has generated difficulties regarding the equilibrium between women´s right to procreate and the abuse of their power over this. Using a qualitative design and assuming that a cultural product, such as the dramatic literature of a certain place, visibilizes the complexities of the psychological processes of a society, this research explores the ways in which subjectivities and associations between maternity and power are displayed in a group of texts of contemporary playwrights in Lima. The concept of the fertilizing man is suggested and some topics found throughout this literary corpus are discussed, such as women´s nutritious power, couple dynamics related to the abuse of power, the envy between the genders and the displacements of this battle for power, onto the descendence.

The Peruvian university system faces a complex redistributive problem due to organized state capture, manifested in wide inequality gaps in access to education, a commercial approach to subject areas, and the exclusive control of the means of educational reproduction, infrastructure, and competent teaching staff by influential economic power groups. Currently, with the excessive increase in the amount of digital information, whether text, audio, video or images and the acceleration of technology, it is very easy to make some alterations in this type of data that can be visible or not. These alterations may have different objectives, such as introducing a watermark to protect the copyright, or to enter a hidden message to be sent in secret, also alterations to add or remove any information for alter the original information for any purpose, whether good or bad. Faced with all these different possibilities of alterations that often cannot be detected by a simple visual examination; that is why it is necessary to develop and implement automated methods that allow us to identify when a data is altered. In this paper we focus only on the detection of altered or manipulated images.

En el mundo contemporáneo, los asuntos públicos cambian demasiado rápido o son demasiado complejos como para que el Parlamento sea el responsable directo de ordenarlos a través de la legislación. Over the course of more than 20 years of practicing Popular Advocacy in Brazil, I have observed court decisions in which textual statements were made about the parties' speeches that I considered to be linguistically unfeasible. The exploratory and qualitative research, with slight quantitative touches, was developed with the aim of offering descriptions of the phenomenon in order to formulate some plausible categories for the linguistic distortions observed. In accordance with Francisco Varela's (1995) perspective on the Sciences and Technologies of Cognition, I classified the object of study as multidisciplinary, so I produced a methodological composition centered on critical discourse analysis, with some elements of participant observation, which made it possible to integrate some levels of complexity into the investigations. The essay explains why and how Latin American societies, during the period of1930 to 1980, accepted the different variants of populist regimes; why these political systems perpetuated for such a long time; what mechanisms were employed to manage internal order; why and how the destruction occurred in the decade of the 1980s; why at the beginning of the 21st century certain forms of populist-demagogicappeals in the Latin-American political panorama returned to the scene; why the State in Latin America reached such low levels of institutionalism halfway through the 20th century; why the discourse of mixed races transformed itself into the central element, capable of uniting the complex magma formed by structural heterogeneity; and why «old nationalisms» are giving way to new methods and alternative discourses about the concept of identity at the beginning of the 21st century.

Esta tesis tuvo como objetivo analizar el Edificio 7 del complejo arqueológico Catalina Huanca, un edificio público de la época Lima Tardío, con el fin de comprender las estrategias políticas y sociales materializadas en su arquitectura. Para ello, se empleó un enfoque semiótico que interpretó la edificación no solo como un contenedor funcional, sino como un sistema de signos en el que la organización espacial expresó relaciones de poder, jerarquías sociales y mecanismos de legitimación del grupo que la ocupó. Persons find it difficult to know, identify and understand legal provisions, which being abundant coexist with the fluctuating case law, the doctrine, among other legal cognitive inputs. In view of the foregoing, this research attempts to overcome the problem of the cognoscibility of law through two practical applications of artificial intelligence – expert informative and cognitive legal systems – with the aim of ensuring better conditions of access, identification and comprehension of the law, by all persons, to suitably channel their behaviors. This scenario manages to configure a new interaction between the legal information and the persons, to attain further knowledge of the law as an ideal condition of legal security.

Political parties are topics well known to women and men of the XXI century that live in both democratic and authoritarian regimes. Even though political parties originally emerged in order to represent people’s claims and to organize popular participation, today they seem to be relegated to the «Palace» or places where political power can be found.
