The objective of this article is to explore the communities generated on YouTube by content creators on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Through graph theory, visual network analysis and a broad overview of the content of selected channels, communities are examined to assess their strength as a community in terms of their degree of connectedness and density. Strong communities are composed of individuals who spread the word about the same topic and viewpoint, acting as one block. Results showed that content creators who promote CAM on YouTube have small and weak communities; in contrast, content creators related to scientific dissemination, who are against CAM, have built strong communities.

Emerging mobile apps can become very useful tools to complement virtual classes. However, all its advantages are not yet being exploited, because there is no established strategy design on how to articulate these technologies in education. Objective: To determine the use of mobile phones by dental students in pandemic times. Methods: The research design was descriptive and cross-sectional. It was made up of incoming students from 2015 to 2020 from the Faculty of Dentistry of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. With a 95 % confidence interval, 205 students who had a smartphone and an internet connection were selected to answer the survey. Results: 83.9 % of the students installed mobile applications. Este estudio se centra en el uso y la percepción de la inteligencia artificial (IA) según los docentes y estudiantes de la carrera de Lengua y Literatura Hispánicas de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua, Managua (UNAN-Managua). El objetivo consistió en analizar el uso y la percepción de la IA de acuerdo con los informantes. La metodología es mixta. Como instrumento, se aplicó una encuesta. Los resultados evidencian que más del 50 % de los informantes han usado las IA, y las más implementadas fueron ChatGPT, Bing y Grammarly. Respecto a la percepción, los informantes consideran que la IA posee ventajas para el desarrollo de competencias profesionales; sin embargo, afirmaron como desventajas la codependencia y la pereza mental. El presente trabajo se realizó en la ciudad de Tamshiyacu, distrito de Fernando Lores y se ubica específicamente en el contexto de la carretera Yavarí-Miri (0-8 Km) en el cual se ubican familias dedicadas a la actividad productiva y extractiva como trabajos, principales en la zona. This main objective of this study is the use of free and open source software to identify structural lineaments and enhancement of geological structures, without the need to use commercial software. In this study, a digital elevation model (DEM) with a resolution of 12.5 m ALOS PALSAR was used on which the different relief visualization techniques were performed, obtaining structural guidelines and enhancement of geological structures (possible faults), in addition graphs were made of rosettes and histograms, with the help of free and open source software such as SAGA GIS, QGIS 3.4.12, Stereonet and OpenStereo.
