This research aimed to determine the factors for Educational Effectiveness and to build an empirical model for Teaching Effectiveness in Ibero-America. A Multilevel Model with four levels of analysis was used to assess teaching effectiveness. The sample consisted of 5,722 students, (all at their third year of primary school), from 257 classrooms at 100 schools located in 9 countries of Ibero-America. The results showed the existence of ten factors of Teaching Effectiveness that impact on the cognitive, social, and emotional development of students: Involvement and commitment of the teacher; Classroom climate; High expectations and selfesteem; Structured lessons; Varied-participatory activities; Attention to diversity; Optimization of learning time; Classroom organization and management; Use of educational resources; Educational assessment, monitoring, and continuous feedback.

Entrepreneurship that catalyzes opportunities and changing scenarios to develop new brand concepts and their value propositions, has emerged with great force in recent times as a result of the health emergency. In this sense, a humanistic trend has evolved that seeks to enhance the collaborative aspects of entrepreneurs and has remained in the hearts of users. We present data and cases from Ibero-America on these people, who, showing attitude and resilience, have focused on responding to users seeking satisfaction, good treatment, as well as being able to buy and satisfy their needs in a sensitive and empathic way. These actions have contributed to a survival without major fears, which are already caracteristic in the Iberoamerican región. We also suggest taking advantage of the passage through higher educational institutions to continue strengthening the entrepreneurial spirit and huma...

Valerio Fuenzalida is one of the most important researchers of media education in Latin America. From his first experiences on television channels, in the 1970s, to his current interest in children’s audiences, there are some constants: not being afraid of new things, distrusting paradigms, and asking and researching in order to have a grounded argument. In this interview, he told us how he developed the ideas that led him to propose an active reception while working at the Center for Research on Cultural and Artistic Expression (Ceneca). In addition, he showed us how he has delved into the importance of emotions in the relationship that people establish with the audiovisual. Valerio remains intellectually restless, with a desire to continue building thought and transmitting it directly or through the possibilities of technology.

This article shows the results of a research conducted in two stages between 2013 and 2017. In the first stage, the main objective was to reconstruct the representations of Social Communication teachers from secondary schools in Mendoza (Argentina) around teaching of communication. In the second stage, as a continuation of the previous one, the contents of the Provincial Curricular Design of the same subject were analyzed and resignified, taking into account the perspective of the critical media education (EMC). The assumption is that no media education can be called “critical” if the starting points when designing the processes of teaching and learning, and understanding the universe of media and technologies are not so. On the basis of the insights offered by the theories of resistance in education, critical curriculum theories and EMC, the contents on communication offered to sc...
