The present case is about a 25-year-old male patient, with no relevant medical history, who attended the SERODU dental clinic. On clinical examination, it is observed that the patient presents sensitivity when making a light tapping of the lateral wall of the left maxillary sinus externally on the cheekbones and intraoral palpation on the lateral surface of the maxilla between the canine and zygomatic fossa. The post-truth presents us with the banalization of the events or objective facts, in favor of positions and particular interests appealing to the emotions and indignation of the people where the truth and the lie coexist accepting both equally. In this perspective, the truth turns out to be an interpretation of reality or an alternative reality among others, which is conducive to manipulate people or social groups according to particular interests far from reality and the truth of events.

Amparado pelo governo, é amplamente distribuído em todo o território nacional. Para a maioria da população brasileira, seu conteúdo será a noção norteadora de sociedade e de seus conceitos, visto que é pequena a parcela que voltará a discutila nas universidades. Percebo falhas na divulgação de seu conteúdo através do livro didático. No quesito ciência, os livros informam um paradigma dominante que precisa ser analisado, pois a ciência é descrita como positivista, apoiada pelo método científico e rigor matemático. The objective of this study is to restore, through the occlusal plane, the aesthetics and functionality of a piece treated endodontically in the posterior sector through an endo-crown. The following case is a 27-year-old male patient with no relevant medical history who attended the SERODU dental clinic. The radiographic examination revealed the endodontic canals, which were protected by a cavity base and provisional filling. The intraoral examination revealed that tooth number 46 lost the distal wall and part of the palatine, so it was decided to carry out the rehabilitation with an endo-crown, as it has a good hermetic seal at the coronal level, it prevents possible re-contamination of the treatment endodontic resulting in a conservative and feasible alternative.

An alternative model of well-being and development using an emic and post-hoc approach is presented. This method was applied to a non-educated corridor sample which includes rural and urban shantytowns (n = 550). A psychometric wellbeing battery was developed for this study. Analytical technique includes a modified version of Confirmatory Factor Analysis in order to meet the demands of the post-hoc theorisation rationale. Alternative models of universal needs, subjective life satisfaction, resources, and values are presented. A three factor personality solution is described. Discussion emphasises the advantages of these results compared to theories and approaches from Europe and United States in theoretical and empirical terms. Implications for development are also discussed.

The objective of this research was to compare and test different methods and alternatives to approach factorial designs with fixed effects, when the assumptions of normality or homogeneity of variances are not met. Twenty methods investigated in the literature as an alternative to classical ANOVA (variance analysis) were described and tested, including non-parametric techniques, robust methods, permutations, methods for heterogeneous variances and transformations; which are currently available and implemented in R software. The Brexit referendum is a good example of the particular vulnerability of the European project when fighting disinformation. Therefore, EU institutions have developed a series of initiatives throughout 2018 to define a European strategy to counter disinformation that emphasizes the responsibility of social networks in reporting false content. In addition, given the weakness of the European public sphere, the European institutions support the creation of European networks of fact checkers. The pedagogical approach to strategies for the improvement of students’ reading comprehension is one of the main challenges of education in Peru. In the case of the Tacna region, this improvement has gone hand in hand with educational innovation, mainly during the transition period between the exams to control the evolution of educational parameters proposed as part of the Student Census Evaluation Strategy (ECE) promoted by the Ministry of Education, as a response to the low indicators in mathematical and verbal reasoning of Peruvian students. The objective of this research is to demonstrate the impact of the "Minute Ten" strategy in improving the results of students in the Tacna Region. To demonstrate this, a comparison of pre- and post-implementation results of the strategy will be made to understand its impact on students in the Tacna Region, Peru.

The aim of this research was to evaluate the effect of alternative natural products in the control of Varroa destructor in honey bees (Apis mellifera) in an apiary located in Sayán, Lima region, Peru. Five treatments (oxalic acid, thymol, vaseline, tobacco and control) and six replications per treatment were used for 16 days. The hives with rates greater than 2% of varroa infestation were selected and the evaluations were carried out in the adult bee, operculated cells and floor of the hive at the beginning and end of the experiment.
