Se reporta el desarrollo de un laboratorio Virtual basado en histograma para llevar a cabo experimentos sobre binarizacion de imágenes en niveles de gris. A fin de automatizar el proceso de binarizacion, se introduce un Umbral Heurístico de Binarizacion. Después de obtener el histograma de una imagen en niveles de gris el modulo calcula el umbral heurístico, extrayendo el promedio ponderado de los niveles de gris de primer plano de la imagen. A continuación se resaltan los niveles de gris en la imagen que están por encima del umbral heurístico. Aunque aún no experimentalmente óptimo, el umbral heurístico proporciona una primera aproximación hacia la binarizacion automática de imágenes en niveles de gris.

This research will serve as a precedent for other studies that aim to improve the production processes of textile and apparel companies by proposing a preventive solution for excess fabric waste that results from the production process. The study will also provide insights into reducing the amount of excess fabric waste in the marking and cutting areas via the manufacture of additional clothing items and accessories. Consequently, by efficiently allocating resources to make optimal use of seasonal material, costs can be reduced, ultimately leading to improved profitability for the textile knitwear company.

This study aims to know how the training processes of practicing teachers contribute to the construction of beliefs about teaching at the university. Froma qualitative methodology with agrounded theory approach, professors from public and private universities were selected through theoretical sampling. In-depth interviews were conducted to collect data whichwere analytically coded. Among the results it was found that the teachers' beliefs come frominstitutional training of a normative typewhich emphasizes a functional teaching in didactic techniques, use of technology and innovation, excluding training in knowledge of the discipline they teach. The development of a Virtual Lab to perform experiments on histogram-based binarization of grey-leveled images is reported. With the aim of automatizing the binarization process, a Heuristic Binarization Threshold is introduced. Once the histogram of a grayscale input image is obtained, the module calculates a Heuristic Threshold by taking the weighted average of the foreground grey levels of the image. Next those pixels in input image whose grey levels are above this threshold are highlighted. Although still not experimentally optimum, this heuristic threshold provides a first approximation towards automatic binarization of greyscale images.

In this research, we want to present the concepts and techniques used in a big data project for a European supermarket company, through a customer segmentation proposal, using the k-means algorithm, and a recommender system, via Light FM library. The main conclusions include the importance of adequately defining the problem to be solved, the correct use of the big data infrastructure, the relevance of the exploratory analysis of the dataset and its pre-processing, as well as the use of the TDSP methodology (Team Data Science Process), oriented to big data projects.

RESUMEN Hace algún tiempo, Cajamarca ha sido partícipe de ser una de las ciudades con peligro de inundaciones; por lo general no por avenidas, pero sí por la cantidad de lluvia o precipitación, que se tiene en los meses de Diciembre a Marzo, con o sin presencia del fenómeno del Niño. Algunos autores, mencionan que los daños y pérdidas que se producen por inundaciones, son por la desigualdad y pobreza en nuestro medio, ya que no cuentan con estructuras adecuadas para responder ante climas extremos. Al año 2016, Cajamarca es catalogada, como la primera región del Perú en porcentaje de pobreza, con un intervalo del 15.1% al 23.3% e índice de confiabilidad al 95%, según el Instituto nacional de estadística e informática. However, there are few graduate training programs in Peru to use tools and methods of data science applied in public health. This article describes the development process and the initial assessment regarding the experience of the participants in an international multidisciplinary diploma in data intelligence for pandemics and epidemics preparedness, which was carried out from January to May 2021. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo Identificar los factores de riesgos que influyen en las infecciones de las vías urinarias en las usuarias de la botica Inkafarma Bolívar-Trujillo, es una investigación básica univariable, cuantitativo, descriptivo de corte transversal y observacional o correlacional. La técnica usada es la encuesta, el instrumento fue el cuestionario mediante el cual se extrajo los datos, procesando la información con el software Microsoft Excel para la discusión de los resultados. Se concluyó que de las 207 encuestadas, un 33% tiene en claro la necesidad de acudir al médico al sufrir de infecciones urinarias, sin embargo, 31% al parecer no tiene clara la distinción entre la infección y el peligro que representa.
