Latin America´s historical migration to North America has es- tablished a deep cultural, economic and political bond between Mexico and US, by means of institutional discursive process in each new North-American government. The candidate Donald Trump proposed the construction of a border wall during his electoral campaign, with the purpose of stopping Mexican migration, drug trafficking and transboundary criminals. In this context, the study analyses the discourse and communicative framework of the border wall, on the basis of Critical Discourse Analysis and the Ideo- logical Studies of Right-Wing Populism. Este trabajo analiza el contexto social, político y electoral durante el proceso de elecciones 2001. En la primera parte, el autor analiza el importante trabajo desarrollado por la administración electoral en la organización de este proceso y describe los principales cambios en el sistema electoral a los que llegaron en común acuerdo los partidos políticos. En la segunda parte, el autor hace un diagnóstico de la situación de la población y de los ciudadanos en el momento de las elecciones, en relación a la distribución social y espacial; y, también, describe un perfil de los candidatos presidenciales y parlamentarios. Revisa lo acontecido en los últimos períodos electorales referentes al evidente surgimiento de los partidos o movimientos regionales frente a la decadencia progresiva de los partidos políticos nacionales o tradicionales. Para nuestra investigación analizaremos la Ley N° 28094 (Ley de Partidos Políticos), observaremos los resultados estadísticos a disposición por los órganos públicos correspondientes y, finalmente, consultaremos las fuentes bibliográficas determinantes en nuestra materia. Los resultados obtenidos solo son una muestra de lo evidente. The paper presents a review of the literature of news coverage on female presidential candidates. For this purpose, seven coverage frames  are included: a) visibility, b) gender reiteration, c) mediation of the intimate sphere, personality, d) thematic agenda, e) tonality and f) particularities of the media. Finally, an operationalization proposal is formulated for each of the frames that could be used in future research that addresses these political figures. It is concluded that women are represented from their intimate sphere and femininity, characteristics that are far from being culturally appropriate for debate in the public and political arena.

The growing visibility of violence in schools has caused multiple demands to know their condition in our societies. Given this, the conceptual, analytical and methodological challenges faced between those engaged in their empirical research are evident. However, many of those who face these challenges do not analyze the parallel processes that are configured as the research progresses. This is the case of changes about the role of students in this collective effort. The objective of this document is to analyze the advances and dilemmas of the empirical research on violence in Mexico, focusing on the implications derived from the legitimization of the voices of children and adolescents.
