Una de las tesis atribuidas a Tomás de Aquino es que la existencia, a diferencia de la esencia, no puede ser objeto de conceptualización. Al carecer de un concepto de existencia, Tomás se acercaría a la interpretación moderna de proposiciones existenciales, según la cual la proposición ‘P existe’ no atribuye ninguna propiedad a P. El propósito de este artículo es mostrar que para Tomás de Aquino la existencia, al igual que la esencia, es objeto de conceptualización y un predicado real. Para ello, me baso en la teoría de la significación de Tomás de Aquino.

Trata sobre la existencia de soluciones del modelo matemático atmosférico de precipitaciones pluviales, que es un sistema dinámico espacio-temporal, conformado por ecuaciones diferenciales parciales no lineales que representan a las leyes físicas: conservación de masa, conservación de cantidad movimiento y conservación de agua; la ley de conservación de agua permitió determinar las precipitaciones en estado sólido y/o líquido. Interrelationships between two species are a basic theme in Population Dynamics, particularly the interaction between predators and their prey. This importance is due to the fact that it allows a deeper understanding of the behavior of complex food webs. In this paper we extend the analysis of a modified Leslie-Gower predator-prey model by assuming that the functional response is sigmoid or Holling type III and the predator have an alternative food. We show that the system representing the model has up to three positive equilibrium points; we establish conditions to determine the nature of each equilibrium point. In addition, we show the existence of different types of bifurcations, including those of Hopf and the homoclinic. The analytical results are discussed from an ecological perspective.

This research concerns with analysis of a class of modified predator- prey type Leslie-Gower models. The model is described by an autonomous nonlinear ordinary differential equation system. The functional response of predators is Holling IV type or non-monotone, and the growth of prey is affected by the Allee effect. An important aspect is the study of the point (0, 0) since it has a strong influence on the behavior of the system being essential for the existence and extinction of both species, although the proposed system is not define there.

In the present work, the sufficient conditions are determined to guarantee the exis tence of the optimal solution of the quadratic programming problem with simple_x000D_ bound. To achieve the established objective, the tools of convex analysis have been_x000D_ used, and some important properties of the quadratic programming problem with_x000D_ simple bound have also been investigated. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo desarrollar una solución informática para mejorar el control de existencias del material educativo utilizado en las diversas actividades escolares en un colegio particular de la ciudad de Arequipa. El desarrollo de la solución siguió un proceso metodológico cuantitativo de diseño experimental, mediante la recolección de datos; como instrumentos se utilizó el cuestionario, entrevista y análisis documentario. El principal beneficio en la codificación e identificación del material educativo, se obtuvo una exactitud de 453 ítems registrados en biblioteca y 162 ítems registrados en equipos/material, con un promedio de 451 y 161 ítem. This study investigates an eco-epidemiological model incorporating feedback mechanisms and prey refuge, formulated as a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The model describes interactions among susceptible prey, infected prey, and predators, including disease transmisión and nonlinear predation effects. We establish the existence, uniqueness, and positivity of solutions, and analyze their boundedness within a biologically feasible region. Local stability of equilibria is studied via linearization, while global stability is proven using Lyapunov functions. Numerical simulations complement the analytical results, demonstrating how key parameters affect the system’s long-term dynamics.

It is often attributed to Aquinas the thesis that existence, unlike essence, cannot be the object of conceptualization. Arguably, without a concept of existence, Aquinas offers an interpretation of existential propositions which closely resemble the modern analytic analysis. Accordingly, when wesay ‘P exists’, we attribute no property or special attribute to P. The purpose of this article is to show that for Thomas Aquinas, existence, like essence, can be the object of conceptualization nd functions as a real predicate. The main objective was to analyze and theorize the convergence of mammalian species of wildlife habitats of interest for resources (clay and water) called Ccollpas in Puno, Perú.
