The purpose of this paper is to analyze the meanings attributed by a small group of young provincial female university students to the production and dissemination of the selfie as profile pictures on Facebook and to the social interaction that is woven around it. The empirical evidence supporting the work derives from interviews with nine women between the ages of 17 and 21, who are residents of the towns of Cuautla and Cuernavaca (located in the eastern Mexican state of Morelos), are undergraduate students and are users of Facebook, as well as observations made on this network. The main findings point to the fact that the selfie as a profile picture is a resource for identity, sociability and entertainment. This work examines the online agenda of two of the most important newspapers in Argentina -Clarín and La Nación- through quantitative content analysis of the news stories published on their respective homepages and on the official accounts of these two media outlets on Facebook and Twitter. The analysis of 3.780 news shows that newspapers maintain an agenda related to public affairs on their home pages, while on social networks they prioritize news related to non-public topics. The divergence is lowest early in the morning and increases throughout the day. This paper explores the reasons for the differences between the topics selected by the news companies on their homepages and their social media presence.

This article shows the main ideas of the Peruvian-Spanish wríter Mario Vargas Llosa on the phenomenon of how traditional culture is being displaced by mass culture and entertainment. Based on such analysis, the article examines the contents of the Peruvian media, presenting specific cases showing sorne form of violen ce víolating the fundamental ríghts of individuals; while descríbing the way such cases are treated at local and international levels. Then, the author propases a reflection on the impact of the violence portrayed in entertainment and on the need to promote qualitative changes allowing for the gradual adaptation of the media to the social purposes it is expected to pursue in light of the Constitution and laws. This database consists of the Peruvian media diet in a post-pandemic context. Specifically, it examines how Peruvians define and utilise media to create environments for information, learning, and entertainment. Since the pandemic, the relationship that users have developed with the media has intensified and changed, fostering new uses and interactions. However, our data demonstrates that the Peruvian public maintains a critical role towards mass media (broadcasting model) [1], which motivates them to seek out media and platforms that cater to their interests and expectations. El presente trabajo de investigación se concentra en analizar la intención de compra de los fans del grupo surcoreano Stray kids frente a la campaña Change For The Planet que viene realizando su agencia, la empresa JYP Entertainment, con la finalidad de reducir la contaminación ambiental que los álbumes de sus artistas provocan durante su proceso de producción y existencia en el planeta. Para ello, esta investigación gira en base a 2 ejes, responsabilidad ambiental empresarial e intención de compra. The literature of aging explores the deterioration of the human body, while feminist literature explores the problems of gender equality. According to Miguel Sabido (1989) and Albert Bandura (1989), the media, particularly the telenovelas, tend to use stereotypes that portray women and the elderly population negatively. Sabido uses the concepts of education and entertainment to unveil how telenovelas teach societal behavior, allowing a path for social discrimination towards them. Through these concepts, the researchers have demonstrated how the Mexican and Colombian telenovelas negatively portrayed the elderly people, especially women. Such analysis was not done in vain, as it had the purpose of giving agency to the elderly by allowing them to have to power of how they want to be represented in the media.

In the last decade, the use of fashion films as a strategic content in the fashion industry has acquired special relevance. The objectives of this research are aimed at framing fashion films within the framework of branded content and distinguishing their specific characteristics in the sector of luxury fashion brands, such as Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Burberry and Dior. To do this, a qualitative methodology is used to study the most representative fashion films of the selected brands through an aesthetic analysis and a diegetic analysis. The results of the research show that brands conceive fashion films as content marketing, advertainment and branded entertainment, with different aesthetic and narrative characteristics.

En el presente ensayo abordaremos el avance que han tenido los personajes o superhéroes que tanto admiramos, también realizaremos una profunda investigación en la historia de esta compañía para ver cuales han sido estos cambios o modificaciones para que logren estar adaptados la circunstancia de la época en ese momento. Además, nos introduciremos en una época en la cual Marvel inició su era de ascenso y crecimiento rápido en expansión, asimismo analizaremos su estrategia de comunicación que se usará para sobresalir de la crisis que los afectó y casi los lleva a la bancarrota, en esta situación Marvel a pesar de todo tuvo que realizar una jugada muy arriesgada.

En el presente trabajo se analizará como Marvel evolucionó de ser una pequeña empresa de cómics a pasar a la pantalla grande o más conocido como El universo cinematográfico Marvel, el cual es unas de las franquicias de películas de superhéroes que en la actualidad nos muestran películas que nos dejan mucho que decir, se investigara desde sus inicios de creación en el mundo de los cómics y como se fue adaptando en la pantalla grande, analizando las distintas estrategias que realizo para crear y consolidar su universo cinematográfico.

El siguiente trabajo tuvo como propuesta principal el determinar la presencia de la viralización en el video del grupo coreano BTS (Beyond The Scene), que tiene por nombre “Idol”, material audiovisual que fue lanzado el 24 de agosto del 2018 a través de su canal en Youtube llamado “Big Hit Entertainment”, siendo esta la empresa dueña del grupo, entre los jóvenes de 15 a 23 años, quienes son el público asiduo al Centro Comercial Arenales ubicado en el distrito de Lince, en el presente año 2019. (Venelatin) y dictó medidas correctivas a favor de los consumidores que compraron entradas para el espectáculo ‘Amaluna’ del Circo del Sol (Cirque Du Soleil) -que fue cancelado sin justificación-.
