Introduction: The use of social networks can trigger addictive behaviors in some cases, as well as influence the development of other risk behaviors such as sexting; Objective: relate sensation seeking, self-esteem and sexting in university students from Metropolitan Lima. Method: 151 young people and adults (59.5% women) from 18 to 30 years old participated (M= 21.8; DE= 3.09), they were administered the Sensation Seeking Scale, the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and the Sexting Behavior Scale. Results: Moderate significant correlations were found between sensation seeking with the total sexting score and its dimensions: active disposition towards sexting and actual participation in sexting, not so with the dimension emotional expression in which a weak non-siognificant relationship is found; likewise, sensation seeking and sexting reach very low levels of significance in their relationshi...

El presente proyecto educativo innovador nace de una problemática común en muchas escuelas, el mal manejo de las nuevas tecnologías de la información y, específicamente, de las redes sociales en los adolescentes. Muchos estudiantes están expuestos a múltiples riesgos en el mundo virtual (como el grooming o el sexting) y ellos, muchas veces, actúan de una manera incorrecta generando conflictos entre sus compañeros, como es el caso del ciberacoso o cyberbullying. Frente a este tipo de problemática, la escuela debe saber actuar, involucrando a todos los agentes educativos (directivos, docentes, estudiantes, familias, etc.) y poniendo en práctica la ciberseguridad. Virtual social networks have had a notable impact on our lives, and over the years it has led to the creation of new virtual socialization platforms such as Instagram, which in our context has taken great interest, especially in adults young people, occupying a large part of their personal, academic, work and social space, often leading to problematic behaviors such as addiction. Objective: The effects of an online prevention program on technological addictions and cognitive-affective dispositions in university students during the COVID-19 pandemic were evaluated. Methods: Forty-two students participated in the sample, of which 21 formed the experimental group (EG) and the other 21 students the control group (CG). Academic efficacy and academic engagement scales were used, as well as cell phone, internet and video game addiction tests.
