From a mathematical model given by the integral Im,n=∫Pm(x)G(x)Jn(x)dx where Pm(x) a polynomial function, G(x) a Gaussian function, and Jn(x) is the integer-order Bessel function, we have performed simulations to evaluate the possible scenario of outbreak of Zika virus (ZIKV) in a big city. Our study is motivated from the outbreaks in Brazil (2007). We have assumed a list of probabilities which are connected to the number of cases in-risk which is changing in time. Also, the intervention is defined as the fraction ΔIm,n and it is selected by the Monte Carlo step. Simulations takes into account the rapid intervention that means the transfer of those identified (e.g. pregnant women) to save and clean areas away from the mosquitoes Aedes.

Infectious bursal disease is a pathology of viral origin that affects poultry, causing a high mortality rate. Existing vaccines face the problem of the appearance of new strains, so searches are made for molecules with potential binding affinity to viral proteins. Withania somnifera extract is involved in the replication of infectious bursitis virus, but the possible mechanism of action is not well understood. The aim of this study was to identify, through in silico methods, the phytoconstituents of W. somnifera with binding affinity to the active site of viral protein 1 (VP1) of infectious bursal disease virus. Molecular docking assays were performed between VP1 and 27 phytoconstituents described in W. somnifera. When the Keller-Segel equation is treated in a semiclassical scenario of electrodynamics involving Quantum Mechanics measurements, it is possible to implement the formalism of input-output in a nature manner without ambiguities. In this paper we explore such edge of this mathematical-biology equation in a systematic manner to describe virus and bacteria colonization in a healthy host. We provide numerical calculations in terms of energy. Present a set of diagrams that might enclose information about the realization of bacterial aggregations in their purpose to carry out a specific task. For this end we implement the concept of transfer function of a system. Simulations are presented in order to make predictions and validate the ideas of the proposal of this paper.

Communication research in times of epidemics and pandemics is an important factor in prevention, treatment and recovery. The study presented analyzes the behavior of communication research about epidemics and pandemics through the scientific production registered in the Scopus database. Indicators are used to assess general publication trends at the country, institutional, author, journal and article level. The prevailing themes and their evolution over time are examined, as well as the evolution in the groups and associated research fronts. The results show a trend towards the growth of publications with a higher concentration in 2020.
