En este estudio se analizó la eficiencia del gasto local en 1686 municipalidades del país para elaño 2003, mediante la interpretación de las actividades públicas locales como un proceso de producción que transforma inputs en outputs (Bradford et al. 1969 y Fisher 1996). En este estudio se aproximan los costos económicos de la contaminación ambiental minera sobre los recursos hídricos para 2008 y 2009 en el marco conceptual de la Eficiencia Medioambiental, que interpreta dichos costos como el trade-off de los empresarios mineros entre incrementar su producción que es vendible a precios de mercado (output deseable) yreducir la contaminación ambiental que se desprende de su proceso productivo (output no deseable). El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como finalidad evaluar la resistencia al avance de una embarcación pesquera de tipo cerco afectado por una variación paramétrica de su forma. La ecuación paramétrica de la forma del casco se modifica por el parámetro del bulbo, cuyo coeficiente de bulbo aumenta según la eslora de bulbo. Se presentan cuatro formas de cascos comenzando por uno sin bulbo y siguiendo tres en que aumenta la eslora del bulbo. The objective of this research was to compare and test different methods and alternatives to approach factorial designs with fixed effects, when the assumptions of normality or homogeneity of variances are not met. Twenty methods investigated in the literature as an alternative to classical ANOVA (variance analysis) were described and tested, including non-parametric techniques, robust methods, permutations, methods for heterogeneous variances and transformations; which are currently available and implemented in R software.
