Estamos cerca de cumplir un siglo desde que los estudios de género, los cuales nacieron en el seno de la academia en Estados Unidos de América, empezaron su historia y su influencia mundial. A través de los años, sus propuestas e impactos en la sociedad fueron haciéndose realidad, a pesar de una fuerte resistencia conservadora. Junto al feminismo, estos estudios han cuestionado la manera en que se ha venido investigando y produciendo conocimiento. Al mismo tiempo, el enfoque de derechos ha supuesto la necesidad de transversalizar la reducción de brechas de género en las políticas públicas de muchos países.

If the practice of referring to a single “Quechua language” is incorrect because it does not acknowledge the many distinct “Quechuan languages” spoken in the Andean countries, then how many are there? In this study we propose an approximate number based on an application of the most relevant criteria for the distinction between languages/dialects to the Quechuanist literature: (1) degree of mutual intelligibility, (2) phonological-morphosyntactic similarity, (3) lexical correspondence, (4) sociolinguistic perspectives, and (5) geographic fragmentation. Adding up each region individually, we arrive at a total of approximately 12~17 languages. This result highlights the diversity of the Quechuan family as much for linguistics as for public and community policies, which would be more successful if instead of promoting standardization, they valued this diversity.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic caused a health crisis worldwide that ended up affecting the daily lives of university students. Considering prevention strategies for contagion and decreased physical activity, altered perceptions of body image were seen that may negatively disrupt their eating habits. Methods: Our cross-sectional survey-based study (N=180) had the objective to determine the association between body image perception and the risk of eating disorders in university students during the pandemic. We surveyed male and female university students aged 18-35 years using the Montero Anatomical Models questionnaire and the Eating Attitude Test-26 (EAT-26) as instruments. La presente tesis realiza el diseño mecánico de una máquina descapsuladora y seleccionadora de maní, para dar solución al problema que se vive en el caserío de Collique, al no contar con un sistema eficaz para procesar este producto, de implementarse dicho diseño se reducirán los tiempos de procesado de granos de maní, generando mayores ingresos en la población, al vender una mejor calidad de producto. When in the 80s and 90s, I published several articles that identified the three main mental health problems in Peru: 1) poverty and underdevelopment, 2) widespread corruption and 3) violence1,2,3 I did not imagine the depth with which the second of them, corruption, eroded the institutional structure of the State, the democratic system and the social fabric of our country. In this regard, I do not need to provide evidence because they flow unchecked by all the observable levels of our society, from the highest to the most humble, as if the Peruvians, for the first time, had managed to agree on something, to tell Manuel Gonzales Prada who was right: "In Peru, where you put your finger jumps the pus."

This article shows the benefits that a restaurant which uses Information Technologies (IT) as a strategic tool for management would get. The restaurant where the study was carried out, has a model for operations management, whose indicators use variables in terms of profitability and resource utilization in an independent manner, not related; the disadvantage is the inability to measure the profitability in terms of resource utilization. For this reason, a mixed indicator was used: REVPASH (revenue per available seat hour), which made it possible to measure the profitability of the restaurant in terms of the use of its resources.
