Introduction: Lifestyles imposed by constant transformations and increasing demands have triggered a high level of stress, this phenomenon has been related to several pathologies including temporomandibular joint dysfunction. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out, considering a sample of 100 patients who attended a consultation of Buccomaxillofacial Surgery at the Dr. Enrique Tejera Hospital in Valencia, Venezuela; each participant completed the stress reactivity index questionnaire (IRE-32). The data collected were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: Evidence of association was obtained between the variables of temporomandibular joint dysfunction and the stress reactivity index according to age and sex. Objective: To evaluate the sleep duration, the circadian phenotypes, and their association with sociodemographic and clinical variables, lifestyle, and indicators of cardiometabolic risk in adult women. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional study of 108 adult women living in the city of Valencia, Venezuela, who were treated in health campaigns. Sociodemographic and clinical variables, lifestyle, self-reported sleep duration during weekdays and weekends, and weighted sleep duration (short: <7 hours or long: >9 hours) were determined. The circadian phenotype or chronotype were assessed by the reduced Horne & Östberg’s morningness-eveningness questionnaire. The objective of this study is to evaluate the quality of service perceived by users in a private medical center in Valencia, Venezuela. The instrument for data collection was based on the perceptions of SERVQUAL. Were identified by Factor Analysis, once they demonstrated the relevance sample, three (03) dimensions: Safety, Reliability and tangibility, explaining 66.63% of the total variance, likewise, the instrument showed internal consistency (alpha cronbach> 0.955) as it reliable and results of statistical tests performed (Significant at 5%), demonstrate the validity. Based on the results, we conclude that the questionnaire has enough condition to be used as a measure of the quality perceived by patients private medical center, and as an input for the design of strategies.

Objective: The aim of this study was describe the most frequent oral manifestations in patients with Nephritis Lupus (LN) as well as to make an updated bibliographic review of the classification, clinical treatment, treatment and dental management of the disease. Materials and method: A cross-sectional study was carried out with 9 children suffering from LN between the ages of 1 and 18 years, from the Pediatric Nephrology Service of the Hospital City Dr. Enrique Tejera, in Valencia, Venezuela, during the year 2016. Results: The results showed: more frequency of LN in female patients, with prevalence of 15 years old, and histological more frequent type III of LN. Background: Achieving an ideal method to assess the potential for fetal growth is an unfulfilled aspiration in our discipline, and imposes the need for individualized evaluation using new tools and integrated multi-parameters. Objectives: To evaluate correlation and to establish cephalic/abdominal/femoral (CAF) index reference values with gestational age (GA) and estimated fetal weight, in order to classify fetal growth evolution as adequate or not adequate for gestational age, and correlation with weight of the newborn at term. In the present dissertation, we analyze the vision about education assistants to inclusive school, also called, in diverse latitudes, teaching assistants or teacher’s aides, although not indistinctly. In this regard, we started with a documentary research, where a number of documents were reviewed (articles, research, essays, papers, degree theses and master’s theses, including legal and regulatory documents), which referred to this professional, in order to understand how it is defined, what their profile, their role or their duties within the educational organization are and how they are linked or should be linked with the other participants in the process. La presente investigación consta de un balance hídrico superficial del sistema hidrológico conformado por la Laguna Sauce, el cual parte de la obtención de la información básica de elevación digital (DEM) para la delimitación de la subcuenca, obteniéndose así un área de 142.72 Km² y un perímetro de 66.176 Km, cuya Laguna Sauce ocupa un área de 4.737 km² con un perímetro de 13.268 Km. Humedales Santa Elena, es considerado como los humedales más altos del país, estas áreas se caracterizan por ser bosques pantanosos e inundables que contienen remanentes de la biodiversidad local.
