Cursó estudios de pregrado en arquitectura en Brasil y de posgrado en la Universitá degli Studi di Roma, La Sapienza, donde se especializó en Restauración de Monumentos. Fue director del Proyecto Especial Perú-UNESCO para la puesta en valor de monumentos en la región de Cusco-Puno, en la década del 70. Se desempeñó como Consultor de UNESCO en diversas misiones para conservación del patrimonio en Brasil, Bolivia y Perú. Es autor de diversos proyectos para la restauración de conjuntos arqueológicos de época Inca y de numerosos inmuebles de valor histórico en Cusco. Fue Profesor Principal en la Universidad Nacional San Antonio Abad del Cusco entre 1985 y 2003, e impartió también la docencia en maestrías de Conservación del Patrimonio en universidades de diversos países. “[…] El propósito fundamental del docente en Arquitectura es que el alumno entienda. Por lo menos yo trato que las clases sean siempre coloquiales. Porque el problema no es demostrar que lo saben, el problema es que ustedes entiendan. Eso es lo único. Lo importante es despertar en ustedes ese conocimiento que está dormido, está latente, y que está esperando una buena oportunidad para salir […]”. Esta y muchas otras ideas escuchamos quienes estuvimos en clases como alumnos y, sobre todo, quienes compartimos aula y cátedra junto al ingeniero Roberto Machicao Relis, pionero en la enseñanza de las estructuras, con una visión diferente de la vida y de la enseñanza de las estructuras en la arquitectura.

La biografía del Dr. Roberto Llanos Zuloaga, se realizó contando con su autorización, habiéndose realizado dos entrevistas en agosto y septiembre del año 2010, en ellas pudimos disfrutar de su sentido de humor, cordialidad, energía de vida y sabiduría. Después de terminadas cada una de las entrevistas, surgió en mi una necesidad de escribir en forma poética, mis sentimientos y sensaciones, conformando una respuesta estética a la experiencia vivida. “La parte de los crímenes”, one of the segments of the novel 2666 (2004) by Roberto Bolaño, narrates in a fictional key, based on journalistic investigations, official records and social organizations, the series of multiple murders of women perpetrated in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, at the end of the last century and the beginning of the present. The purpose of this article is to inquire into the artistic representation of the extreme violence that attacks without mercy the female bodies in overflowing and irrational way, until forming an apocalyptic vision of the Latin American city. The writing contaminates the testimonial record withfiction to capture feminicide violence, a procedure that eludes the controversial character of the testimony and, instead, concentrates all the power of the story in the exploration of evil in its multiple incarnations. This article aims to examine the objections to impolitical perspective arising from the publication of Roberto Esposito's book Categorie dell’impolitico (1988). The hypothesis of this paper is that the various positions on the impolitical have as a condition of possibility two different perspectives on the crisis of modern juridico-political notions. In order to elucidate the distinction between “overcoming” and “ulteriority”, it is crucial to analyze the reading proposed by the Italian author himself in the Preface to the second edition of Categorie dell’impolitico (1999). The systematic approach to this question will lead, towards the end of the article, to raise the question about the productivity and relevance of the impolitical point of view in the contemporary debate.

The present article will address chapter II “The savage detectives (1976- 1996)”, which introduces fifty-four characters that give testimony regarding poets Arturo Belano and Ulises Lima. The absence of these poets is what allows for them to be present in each one of the testifying subjects’ memory. The narration, then, constructs a place of memory for Belano and Lima to inhabit, generating in this way a violent interruption that constitutes a rejection of the traditional novel format since it relocates its fundamental elements, namely, the protagonist and the narrator. This chapter can, therefore, be interpreted as a center that denies the concept of center by presenting itself as the very occurrence of that which remainson the run.

La presente tesis intenta demostrar que tras la lectura de Amuleto de Roberto Bolaño, al lector le va a ser muy difícil acceder al argumento de la obra. Pero esto no se debe a deficiencias en la narración o por algún estilo particular, sino por un frustrado proyecto de negociación por parte de un sector subalterno para poder acceder al privilegio de poseer una voz autónoma. En efecto, esta novela representa una constante tensión entre lo hegemónico y lo subalterno, entre lo representado y lo no representado, entre una voz independiente y el silencio.
