Mediante la metodología del ciclo de Deming (PHVA) se logró mejorar la eficiencia en las operaciones de traslado interno de productos lácteos, evaporada y refrescos, desde las áreas productivas hasta los almacenes de distribución y posterior venta a los canales modernos, tradicionales, programas sociales y exportaciones que maneja la empresa. Este método se emplea para generar valor en el uso eficiente de los equipos móviles, tanto plataformas como montacargas. Los resultados de la investigación indican que permiten optimizar los traslados de producto, reduciendo el tiempo de espera, hacer que el proceso sea flexible, aumentar la productividad, eliminar la acumulación de producto terminado en el patio de maniobras y alinear desde la planeación agregada y programación de la producción hasta la asignación de cuántos equipos móviles serán necesarios para atender una demanda estacionaria.ABSTRACT The research work uses the methodology of continuous improvement, which represents an opportunity to increase productivity, availability and competitiveness, align processes, eliminate waste and generate continuous flow for internal customers of a food company. Through the methodology of the Deming cycle (PHVA) in which it was possible to improve efficiency in the operations of internal transfer of dairy products, evaporated and soft drinks, from the productive areas to the distribution warehouses and subsequent sale to the modern, traditional channels, social programs and exports that the company manages. This method is used to generate value in the efficient use of mobile equipment, both platforms and forklifts.
