description La presente tesis trata de una biblioteca pública de alcance interdistrital, respondiendo a la necesidad de Lima Norte de un espacio público que permita el intercambio sociocultural, y que al compartir e interactuar con diferentes usos como la comisaría, posta médica y nido incluidos en la propuesta, se agrega un valor cívico al proyecto y se refuerza el espacio público existente que converja diferentes tipos de usuarios invitados a hacer uso de la biblioteca pública, generando que funcione como una instrumento adicional a la educación brindando espacios y herramientas adecuadas que complementen las adquiridas en los centros educativos, y que incentiven la autoeducación de las personas. De esta manera, el proyecto de biblioteca pública + equipamiento urbano en Comas, se convierte en un espacio articulador urbano, social, educativo y cultural.

De esta manera, el proyecto de biblioteca pública + equipamiento urbano en Comas, se convierte en un espacio articulador urbano, social, educativo y cultural.This thesis is about a public library of inter-district scope that responds to the need of Lima Norte for a public space that allows socio-cultural exchange, and that by sharing and interacting with different urban uses such as a police station, health center and kindergarten which are included in the design. This adds a civic value to the project and makes the existing public space, which converges different types of users who are invited to make use of the public library, reinforced. This generates that the public library can work as an additional instrument to education by providing adequate spaces and tools that complement those acquired in educational centers, encouraging the self-education of people.
