La presente investigación cualitativa exploró el holding del holding materno en madres que tuvieron un hijo entre los 16 y 19 años, desde el enfoque psicoanalítico. Este concepto es entendido como el sostenimiento afectivo y el apoyo en tareas concretas hacia la madre, de parte del entorno, para así garantizar la continuidad de cuidados maternos. Es un estudio de casos múltiple a través de entrevistas semi-estructuradas a cuatro madres primerizas, que salieron embarazadas entre los 16 y 19 años de edad, y que actualmente tienen entre 19 y 22 años. Ellas pertenecen a un nivel socioeconómico medio-alto y no presentan problemas colaterales o patología grave. El análisis temático realizado evidenció cuatro ejes: a) Pensando a mi bebé: embarazo, deseo, culpa y reparación. b) Nace un bebé para la unión familiar y el cuidado incondicional. c) Disfrutar con el bebé y tiempo más allá de la maternidad. d) Reclamos, rechazo y rabia. Dos principales hallazgos fueron que el embarazo surge como reclamo de un mayor sostenimiento emocional del entorno y constituyó una experiencia de reparación de vínculos. El entorno actuó como un canalizador de la angustia, la agresión y para establecer los límites de las madres en cuanto a sus capacidades para cuidar del bebé. The present qualitative research explored the holding of the mother holding in mothers that had a child between the ages of 16 and 19, from the psychoanalytic approach. This concept is understood as the emotional support and the support in concrete tasks towards the mother provided by their support system to ensure the continuity of their maternal care. It is a multiple case study through semi-structured interviews to four first-time mothers, who became pregnant between he ages of 16 and 19 years old, and who currently are between the ages of 19 and 22 years old. They belong to a medium-high socioeconomic status and do not present collateral problems or a serious pathology. The thematic analysis showed evidence of four axes: a) Thinking about my baby: pregnancy, desire, guilt and amends b) A baby is born for family unity and unconditional care. c) Enjoying time with the baby and time beyond motherhood. d) Claims, rejection and anger. Two main findings were that pregnancy arises as a way of seeking greater emotional support of the environment and constituted an experience of repairing previously severed bonds. The environment acted as a channel of anguish, aggression and to establish the mother´s limits in terms of their abilities to care for the baby.
