Lima, es una ciudad de 9 millones 847 mil habitantes (proyección INEI-2021), la cual ha tenido un crecimiento exponencial durante los últimos 70 años debido a distintos factores sociales, económicos y otros. Es una ciudad con muchas problemáticas, pero quizás la que afecta a todos sus habitantes es la del transporte y movilidad. Actualmente, nuestro sistema de transporte se encuentra colapsado debido al gran aumento de la población, las escasas políticas de planeamiento territorial, la inexistente reforma de transporte y la ausencia de una infraestructura vial acorde al S.XXI. En esta tesis se plantea una reflexión sobre cómo a través de nuevas infraestructuras urbanas como las intermodales, lugares de intercambio de modos de transporte, se puede abordar y contribuir a la mejora de la problemática de la movilidad y cómo estás influyen directa e indirectamente en la mejora de la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos. El proyecto “INTERMODAL ATOCONGO” se ubica en “Lima Sur” teniendo una influencia inmediata los distritos colindantes (Santiago de Surco, Chorrillos, San Juan de Miraflores, Villa El Salvador y Villa María del Triunfo). Surge a partir de un análisis de las condiciones actuales urbanas y del transporte de la metrópoli. El proyecto consiste en crear un equipamiento urbano donde convergen de manera ordenada distintos medios de transporte, pudiendo ser motorizados o no motorizados. Logrando un gran nodo urbano potenciador de desarrollo urbano, social, económico como eje de la centralidad Lima Sur. |

It is a city with many problems, but perhaps the one that affects all its inhabitants is transport and mobility. Currently, our transport system is collapsed due to the large increase in population, the few territorial planning policies, the non-existent transport reform and the absence of a road infrastructure according to the 21st century. This thesis proposes a reflection on how through new urban infrastructures such as intermodals, places of exchange of modes of transport, it is possible to address and contribute to the improvement of mobility problems and how they directly and indirectly influence the improvement of the quality of life of citizens. The “INTERMODAL ATOCONGO” project is located in “Lima Sur” having an immediate influence on the neighboring districts (Santiago de Surco, Chorrillos, San Juan de Miraflores, Villa El Salvador and Villa María del Triunfo). It arises from an analysis of current urban conditions and transportation in the metropolis.
