The World Health Organization (WHO) established a priority list of resistant bacteria to guide research and alternatives for improvement. Objective: To describe the scientific production of Peru on AMR of bacteria prioritized by the World Health Organization, between 2012 and 2021. Methods: Observational descriptive study of bibliometric type in journals indexed in Scopus during the period 2012-2021. The selection of studies and data extraction were performed manually in duplicate. Resistant bacteria studied were classified based on priority (critical, high, and medium). Results: A total of 118 articles were included. During the period 2014-2021, the number of publications increased. The articles published in English accounted for 61.9%, 98.3% had their affiliation in Peru, and 77.1% were conducted in Lima. Most publications focused on bacteria of critical priority than high and medium priority. A total of 79.7% sought to determine prevalence or characterize and 26.1% referred to funding from Peruvian institutions. Conclusions: Peruvian scientific production on AMR has increased in recent years and there are more publications on critical priority bacteria. However, these studies are centered in Lima and only a quarter of them have been financed by a Peruvian entity.Revisión por paresODS 3: Salud y BienestarODS 9: Industria, Innovación e InfraestructuraODS 17: Alianzas para lograr los objetivosapplication/htmlapplication/pdfspaEditorial Ciencias Medicashttps://revmedtropical.sld.cu/index.php/medtropical/article/download/985/649info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC)Repositorio Academico - UPCRevista Cubana de Medicina Tropical751reponame:UPC-Institucionalinstname:Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadasinstacron:UPCantibioticsantimicrobiansbacterial resistancebibliometricsPeruhttps://purl.org/pe-repo/ocde/ford#3.00.00Peruvian scientific production on antimicrobial-resistant bacteria prioritized by WHOinfo:eu-repo/semantics/articlehttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a13802023-11-06T16:03:48ZPublicationLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain; charset=utf-81748https://upc.dspace7.openrepository.com/bitstreams/861c55c5-b15f-57a9-b388-2c4e4891f4d0/download8a4605be74aa9ea9d79846c1fba20a33MD53TEXT985-7023-1-PB.pdf.txt985-7023-1-PB.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain35415https://upc.dspace7.openrepository.com/bitstreams/bd8186d7-3e12-5149-a50e-d124d68f4d74/download64c1bb1c929b9bd9eb7da35375e5dfcfMD54THUMBNAIL985-7023-1-PB.pdf.jpg985-7023-1-PB.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg54809https://upc.dspace7.openrepository.com/bitstreams/1c286fbc-e4e4-5522-898c-c4df935a1351/download4e6fcae4f00cb0c686c0835550a47a97MD55ORIGINAL985-7023-1-PB.pdf985-7023-1-PB.pdfapplication/pdf369560https://upc.dspace7.openrepository.com/bitstreams/b431bd80-e368-597f-be32-0c891f28eeed/downloada6b36ed08ffd47adfab83e3bbf3526f8MD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml; charset=utf-8805https://upc.dspace7.openrepository.com/bitstreams/89b3bc02-649a-5c63-bc12-d634f3ac7887/download4460e5956bc1d1639be9ae6146a50347MD5210757/669191oai:upc.dspace7.openrepository.com:10757/6691912026-02-17 17:46:02.202http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessopen.accesshttps://upc.dspace7.openrepository.comRepositorio académico upcrepositorioacademico@upc.edu.pe
