El Centro Comunitario se presenta como un nuevo foco de convergencia e interacción social, enfocada en incrementar el desarrollo humano del distrito de Mi Perú. En respuesta a esta situación, el proyecto de carácter comunitario apoyará el desarrollo de la zona con la intención de promover la seguridad y el bienestar de los habitantes. La propuesta se vincula al lugar y potencia un uso flexible del espacio interno, el cual se organiza por medio de una zona central con abundante iluminación natural y amplias visuales. A su vez, se equilibra las áreas de usos específicos, con los patios internos, plazas en el exterior y con una escalinata que funciona de pequeño anfiteatro. El Centro Comunitario está en función de un aprovechamiento idóneo del terreno y una optimización del recurso económico. Asimismo, su materialidad permite generar un bajo mantenimiento y prolongada durabilidad. Contar con espacios de diversos tipos es fundamental para el desarrollo social de las comunidades en torno al espacio de reunión y a los espacios de servicio que lo alimentan. El desarrollo de estos tipos de encuentro es tarea inherente del arquitecto en su rol activo, social y contemporáneo, a fin de mejorar la calidad de vida y el desarrollo humano.

The Community Center is presented as a new focus of convergence and social interaction, focused on increasing the human development of the district of Mi Perú. In response to this situation, the community project will support the development of the area with the intention of promoting the safety and well-being of the people. The proposal is linked to the place and promotes a flexible use of the internal space, which is organized by means of a central area with abundant natural illumination and wide visuals. At the same time, the areas of specific uses are balanced, with the internal courtyards, squares on the outside and with a stairway that functions as a small amphitheater. The Community Center is based on an adequate use of the land and an optimization of the economic resource. Likewise, its materiality allows to generate a low maintenance and prolonged durability. Having spaces of different types is fundamental for the social development of the communities around the meeting space and the service spaces that feed it.
