Aporta a la formación de una visión diferente, la reducción de los impactos ambientales se debe centrar en todas las etapas de la construcción, tanto en la extracción de materias primas como en la etapa de procesamiento y fabricación de componentes para la construcción, todo esto enfocado bajo un pensamiento ambiental y social, el cual aporta la capacidad de observar y entender la naturaleza como un sistema complejo, y no como un simple conjunto de elementos independientes actuando de manera individual.
