This statistic is closely linked to informality and low productivity issues in such companies. Moreover, in March 2020, manufacturing production plummeted to 32.2% owing to low productivity levels exhibited by some companies. Therefore, to improve this situation, a production management method is required to enhance production management at metalworking MSMEs. This research work is based on the design and application of a production method based on lean manufacturing tools and agile methodologies to improve production process performance and meet market demands.
