El internado médico es la última etapa de la formación universitaria del estudiante de medicina. Es el momento en el cual asumimos responsabilidades sobre los pacientes y ponemos en práctica los conocimientos teóricos adquiridos en los seis años previos. Este trabajo presenta una recopilación de 30 casos clínicos que me aportaron enseñanzas significativas durante el Internado Médico en el período junio 2022 a marzo 2023 en el Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo; tomando en cuenta la anamnesis, examen físico, diagnóstico, manejo, evolución e incluyendo una reflexión significativa. Objetivo: describir y analizar de manera crítica los casos con mayor relevancia académica revisados durante el internado médico. Metodología: Trabajo descriptivo y analítico de la experiencia obtenida durante el internado médico en el Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo, establecimiento público de categoría III-1. Los casos recopilados pertenecen a las especialidades de Medicina Interna, Cirugía, Ginecología-Obstetricia y Pediatría. Conclusiones: El internado médico brindó experiencias enriquecedoras académica y profesionalmente. Si bien las oportunidades para emplear los conocimientos adquiridos dependían parcialmente de los recursos y la capacidad resolutiva del establecimiento donde la realizamos, la mayoría de estos pudieron ser aplicados sin problemas. Asimismo, lo más significativo de este período fue haber podido formar parte del proceso de enfermedad y recuperación de los pacientes, acompañándolos desde el diagnóstico hasta el tratamiento, fortaleciendo nuestra capacidad para entenderlos de manera integral. |

It is the moment in which we assume responsibility for patients and put into practice the theoretical knowledge acquired in the previous six years. This project presents a compilation of 30 clinical cases that provided me with significant lessons learned in the Medical Internship during the June 2022 to March 2023 period at the “Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo”; taking into account the anamnesis, physical examination, diagnosis, management, evolution and including a significant reflection. Objective: To describe and critically analyze the most academically relevant cases reviewed during the medical internship. Methodology: Descriptive and analytical work of the experience obtained during the medical internship at the “Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo”, a III-1 category public facility. The 30 cases collected belong to the specialties of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology-Obstetrics and Pediatrics. Conclusions: The medical internship provided academically and professionally enriching experiences. Although the opportunities to use the knowledge acquired depended partially on the resources and the resolution capacity of the institution where we did it, most of it could be applied without problems.
