The present study starts from the questioning of the representation of the Andean world in the Peruvian cinema, by identifying ideas, prejudices and stereotypes that are repeated. On the other hand, there is also a fictional cinema in which this representation becomes more complex. As part of the research design, the corpus of national fiction films in which the Andean world is represented is identified and, with this selection, experts on the subject are summoned to critically reflect on this representation.
