Tuvo como objetivo general Determinar como influye la Mejora del Programa Anual de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional para prevenir la ocurrencia de accidentes de una empresa contratista minera. El tipo de investigación es Descriptivo correlacional. El diseño es no experimental transversal. La población de la investigación fue 154 personas y la muestra 110. Para la recolección de información se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta, cuyo instrumento fue el cuestionario tipo Likert. La confiabilidad del instrumento se calculó con el coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach, cuyo resultado fue α = 0.829 (grado de confiabilidad) o 83 %, quiere decir que el instrumento es fiable. Se utilizó Excel y SPSS V25 para el procesamiento de datos. Se utilizó el chi cuadrado tabla (X2) para comparar con el chi cuadrado crítico o de prueba en la campana de Gauss. Se observa que el valor de chi crítico o de prueba (29.73) es mayor que el chi tabla (3.84) con significancia de 0.05, quiere decir, como cae en la zona de rechazo, rechazamos la hipótesis nula y eso nos indica que aceptamos la hipótesis alternativa, Mejorando el Programa Anual de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional influye en prevenir la ocurrencia de accidentes de una empresa contratista minera.

Its general objective was to determine how the Improvement of the Annual Occupational Health and Safety Program influences to prevent the occurrence of accidents in a mining contractor company. The type of research is Correlational Descriptive. The design is not cross-sectional experimental. The research population was 154 people and the sample 110. For the collection of information, the survey technique was obtained, whose instrument was the Likert-type questionnaire. The reliability of the instrument was calculated with Cronbach's Alpha coefficient whose result was α = 0.829 (degree of reliability). Excel and SPSS and V25 were extracted for data processing.
