La homologación es el proceso a través del cual se pretende distinguir y generar socios que garanticen la continuidad de la gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional de una empresa minera, a través del cumplimiento de un conjunto de requisitos con el fin de contratar o renovar la contratación de sus servicios. La investigación tiene como resultado promedio cuantitativo de las acciones preventivas desarrolladas por las siete empresas contratistas homologadas de 82.54%, frente a un diagnóstico inicial de 69,20 %. El instrumento de recolección de datos, encuesta de percepción del sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional con diez y seis preguntas, entrega data categorizada por la escala de Linkert para validar las hipótesis generales y especifica. A través de la prueba estadística chi-cuadrado (ꭓ2) se demuestra la relación que existe entre las variables dependiente e independiente, con un indicador teórico de 3.84. Los resultados concluyen que la homologación logra la mejora de la gestión en seguridad y salud ocupacional (ꭓ2= 18.82), resultados satisfactorios a corto y mediano plazo en la reducción de accidentes (ꭓ2= 4.58) y es una estrategia sostenida en cumplimiento legal y controles de seguridad para la operación (ꭓ2= 16.60) del sector minero de siete empresas contratistas mineras.

The homologation is the process through which it is intended to distinguish and generate partners that guarantee the continuity of the safety and occupational health management of a mining company, through the fulfillment of a set of requirements in order to hire or renew the contracting of their services. The research has as a quantitative average result of the preventive actions developed by the seven approved contractor companies of 82.54%, compared to an initial diagnosis of 69.20%. The data collection instrument, a survey of perception of the occupational health and safety management system with sixteen questions, provides data categorized by the Linkert scale to validate the general and specific hypotheses. Through the chi-square statistical test (ꭓ2), the relationship that exists between the dependent and independent variables is demonstrated, with a theoretical indicator of 3.84.
