description El presente trabajo de suficiencia profesional desarrolla los criterios de diseño y metodología constructiva de una estación base celular. Una estación base celular es un tipo de infraestructura de telecomunicaciones que tiene como finalidad brindar los servicios de telefonía e internet móvil mediante la operación de antenas celulares y equipos de radio. Entre los componentes más importantes de la infraestructura tenemos la torre de telecomunicaciones, el sistema de puesta a tierra, instalaciones eléctricas y obras civiles complementarias que se requiere para su correcto funcionamiento. Las torres de telecomunicaciones pueden ser instaladas a nivel de piso o a nivel de azotea de una edificación existente. Los criterios de diseño se fundamentan en las normativas técnico-legales vigentes y en las especificaciones solicitadas por los operadores de telecomunicaciones. Se realizan estudios previos para desarrollar el diseño de la torre, cimentación y el sistema de puesta a tierra para elaborar el expediente técnico de construcción. La metodología constructiva de tiene como objetivo asegurar la ejecución de buenas prácticas constructivas cumpliendo los requisitos de calidad, seguridad y medio ambiente, para lo cual se realizará un control y seguimiento en todas las fases del proceso constructivo. El presente informe tiene como objetivo proponer mejoras y recomendar buenas prácticas para el diseño y construcción de una estación base celular.

A cellular base station is a type of telecommunications infrastructure whose purpose is to provide mobile telephone and internet services through the operation of cellular antennas and radio equipment. Among the most important components of the infrastructure, we have the telecommunications tower, the grounding system, electrical installations, and complementary civil works that are required for its correct operation. Telecommunication towers can be installed at the ground level or at the roof level of an existing building. The design criteria are based on the technical-legal regulations in force and on the specifications requested by the telecommunications operators. Previous studies are carried out to develop the design of the tower, foundations, and the grounding system to prepare the technical construction file. The purpose of the construction methodology is to ensure the execution of good construction practices, complying with the quality, safety, and environmental requirements, for which a control and monitoring will be carried out in all phases of the construction process.
