En el contexto de contribuir al desarrollo sostenible en el ámbito de la vivienda, se toma como punto de partida la reflexión sobre las formas de vida actuales de nuestra sociedad limeña. Así, la arquitectura brinda la oportunidad de proponer estrategias que tengan como objetivo aportar soluciones para salvaguardar y mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas. Por otro lado, se han seleccionado y presentado como ejemplos algunos referentes por su preocupación por mejorar la habitabilidad del hombre y su propuesta de entorno construido. Las características más valorativas de cada referencia han llevado a buscar acciones para el desarrollo de esta propuesta arquitectónica. El proyecto propuesto se ubica en el distrito Cercado de Lima, fuera de los límites del Centro Histórico, e incluye acciones de iniciativa contra el hacinamiento. En este orden, este proyecto propone una alternativa habitacional en su máxima densidad, además genera un barrio vertical que refleja el espíritu de convivencia, sentido común y sentido de pertenencia dentro de sus habitantes. Las estrategias propuestas en este proyecto son resultados del análisis de las especialidades, las cuales tienen como objetivos optimizar el uso de los recursos y sistemas naturales para el cuidado del medio ambiente, además de utilizar criterios como: ahorro de agua, eficiencia energética y preocupación por el medio ambiente y el paisaje. Estos elementos se suman a la propuesta de crear un nuevo vínculo y significado en la memoria entre el ciudadano común y el habitante del edificio. |

Thus, the architecture provides an opportunity to propose strategies that aim bringing solutions in order to safeguard and improve people's quality of life. In the other hand, some references have been selected and presented as examples because of their concern in improving the habitability of man and its proposal of built environment. The most values characteristics of each reference have led finding actions for the development of this architectural proposal. The project proposed is located in the Cercado de Lima district, outside the limits of the Historic Center, and includes initiative actions against overcrowding. In this order, this project propose a housing alternative at its maximum density, also it generates a vertical neighborhood that reflects the spirit of coexistence, common sense and belonging sense inside its inhabitants. The strategies proposed in this project are results of the analysis of the specialties, which have the objectives of optimize the use of natural resources and systems in order of caring the environment, besides of using criteria such as: water savings, energy efficiency and concern for the landscape.
