description La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la necesidad de regulación de la inteligencia artificial en la Responsabilidad Civil Extracontractual en el Perú. Para tal propósito se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo de tipo básico y de nivel exploratorio, empleando el método dogmático jurídico. Se concluyó que la Inteligencia Artificial ostenta una naturaleza elusiva en razón a su complejidad e imprevisibilidad frente a un posible daño que este genere, al momento de determinar a un responsable, si es que este existiese. Lo que, en síntesis, hace necesaria su regulación dentro de los alcances de la RCE en nuestro país, a fin de generar una respuesta anticipada ante los novísimos riesgos de un escenario tecnológico cada vez más creciente, confirmando así la hipótesis planteada en el presente estudio.
