| Sumario: | In the present investigation, the problem of low productivity is analyzed by the disorder and waste produced in the sewing of a garment in a clothing company, which is a constant problem. The low productivity in a company due to having constant waste and disorder, generate a direct impact on the performance of the same, causing more costs for the preparation of the product given the misuse of resources such as labor, machinery, equipment, etc. Likewise, this problem affects the client, obtaining its final product in greater time than expected or of low quality, which causes distrust and opts for another company that meets their needs. To solve the problem described, it is proposed to implement the tools of the 5S and autonomous maintenance of the philosophy of Lean Manufacturing based on the cleaning and elimination of waste which will improve the production processes of the clothing company. The proposed solution is focused on making order, cleaning the work area and care habits for sewing machines and thus reduce production times and increase the productivity of the manufacturing area of the U.S.A. Mega Import. In addition, in order to obtain the quantitative data of the work, time and diagrams were taken, and the qualitative data through surveys and interviews with the staff. The validation of the proposed solution will be made by comparing indicators such as productivity, efficiency and average failure time of the current situation of the company against the proposed improvement after using the tools already mentioned. |
