description La presente investigación sobre recaudación del impuesto sobre predios de la Municipalidad Provincial de Utcubamba, tuvo como propósito establecer el nivel de recaudo del impuesto predial. El estudio abordado fue de tipo descriptivo, con un diseño experimental. Para lograr el objetivo se ha realizado un análisis de los documentos contables de la institución los cuales se relacionan con el recaudo predial correspondientes a los períodos 2020, 2021 y 2022, además, se han elaborado cuadros estadísticos de tal manera se puedan comparar los montos recaudados. Como resultados del presente estudio, se determinó que la entidad municipal no cuenta con una adecuada recaudación. La recaudación del impuesto predial correspondientes a los años 2020, 2021 y 2022 fueron de S/ 1 167 147.62; S/ 1 911 853.14 y S/ 1 767 588.32, respectivamente, considerada baja, ello ante el no pago por parte de los pobladores debido a que no cuentan con recursos suficientes, ahondado por la pandemia por Covid 19.
