description La investigación “Control de inventarios para una adecuada distribución de material educativo en la Unidad Ejecutora 300 – Educación Chiclayo tuvo como finalidad proponer un control de inventarios para mejorar la distribución de material educativo. Esta investigación, es de tipo proyectiva con un diseño no experimental, asimismo, se aplicó el método no probabilístico por conveniencia porque la muestra seleccionada son los 21 trabajadores que hacen sus labores en el área de almacén, gestión pedagógica y logística; además para el recojo de información se utilizó diferentes instrumentos como la entrevista y la encuesta para su posterior análisis. Como resultado, se evidenció que en la Unidad Ejecutora 300 – Educación Chiclayo con respecto al control de inventarios presenta diferentes falencias siendo una de ellas la falta de personal estable para apoyar en el adecuado control de los bienes tangibles, los kárdex se encuentran desactualizados, carecen de herramientas de seguridad ante un suceso inesperado y por otra parte la repartición de material fungible tiene un nivel regular debido a varios factores como que carece de políticas en cada área que interfieren en la distribución del material.
