Descripción
Sumario:The research was to describe the level of basic skills in first graders educational institutions of Callao. We used a simple descriptive design, the sample was consisted type available 100 students of both sexes, aged 6 years, who have applied psychology EVALUA battery 1 (Garcia, Gonzales and Garcia, 2011) adapted to our reality. The results show that in the memory and attention skills children are in the lower level, while reasoning skills, math and writing lessons are in the middle level and low-level reading. Concluding that the level of basic skills that dominates school first grade students of educational institutions of Callao, is medium, which could mean that they have not been able to develop these skills at the appropriate level.
