Sumario:The research was to compare the relationship between writing skills and reproductive metaphonological third graders in elementary aged 8-10 years. The descriptive correlational study with a convenience sample of 96 students from two public educational institutions of Callao. Test was used metaphonological Skills (THM) by Gomez, Valero, Buades and Perez (1995) validated in Peru by Rodriguez (2003) and the Writing Process test (PROESC) by Cuetos, Ramos and Ruano (2004) adapted by the author (2011), both adapted instruments in Lima. The results showed that there is a relationship between variables, concluding that higher skill metafonológica greater reproductive performance in writing also checked the relationship between the variable metaphonological skills and the dimensions of the variable writing reproductive syllables dictation of de words, pseudowords dictation and dictation sentences.
