This study examines the determinants of FDI in Peru for the period 1993-2014 in quarterly series, whose location are explained under the analytical approach OLI Paradigm and research background as Ramirez (2013) and Huerta ( 2010). Specified model postulates that the variables GDP, capital expenditures, multilateral real exchange rates, the level of openness of the economy and income factors, social instability and plentiful resources are determinants of the location of foreign direct investment in Peru. In the testing of this hypothesis the non-experimental design was applied, correlates causal, probabilistic and time series. For this purpose an econometric model based on cointegration technique Johansen found a relationship and long-run equilibrium between the variables of the model is estimated.
