El enfoque presentado fue mixto porque con la información encontrada y brindada, se logró analizar y aplicar datos numéricos en la investigación, el tipo de investigación ha sido aplicada porque se llegó a dar una solución al problema, por otra parte, el nivel de investigación fue descriptivo y longitudinal porque se describió la situación actual y condiciones del yacimiento, por último, el diseño de investigación realizada fue no experimental porque no se aplicó. La primera técnica fue la entrevista al personal del área de asuntos mineros y conocer el proceso productivo, la segunda una encuesta a los trabajadores del yacimiento con la finalidad de conocer la situación actual de trabajo, la tercera y cuarta la de análisis documental con el objetivo de describir aspectos importantes del Reglamento de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional e información de la empresa para proyectar el presupuesto de inversión. Es por ello que a través de esta investigación la Comunidad llegará a tener una mayor eficiencia productiva, porque contribuiría a una mejor seguridad y confianza a los trabajadores a través de la implementación de diferentes aspectos en seguridad y salud.

Therefore, the general objective was to determine the investment in health and safety in the workers of the salt extraction process of the San Pedro de Mórrope Peasant Community. The approach presented was mixed because with the information found and provided, it was possible to analyze and apply numerical data in the research, the type of research has been applied because a solution to the problem was found, on the other hand, the level of research was descriptive and longitudinal because the current situation and conditions of the site were described; finally, the research design carried out was non experimental because it was not applied. The first technique was the interview with the personnel of the mining affairs area and to know the production process, the second was a survey of the workers of the site in order to know the current work situation, the third and fourth was documentary analysis with the objective to describe important aspects of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and company information to project the investment budget.
