La tesis aborda la necesidad de un centro de convenciones en la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo para aumentar su visibilidad a nivel nacional e internacional, descentralizando esta función de la capital del país, y que la población liberteña no deba desplazarse muy lejos para asistir a este tipo de eventos. Para lograr lo descrito anteriormente se propone la creación de un Centro de Convenciones en la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo para ofrecer un espacio adecuado y cómodo para exposiciones académicas, culturales y comerciales, fomentando la interacción cultural y social tanto en la universidad como en la región La Libertad. Además, dicho equipamiento tiene como objetivo crear un espacio apto y confortable para exposiciones académicas culturales y comerciales se busca impulsar el turismo, generar empleo y mejorar la economía local. La metodología utilizada en la presente tesis tuvo un enfoque tanto cuantitativo como cualitativo, puesto que analizó de forma detallada el sitio y el contexto, además comparó otros centros de convenciones similares, y tuvo un proceso creativo que permitió desarrollar una propuesta de diseño, también se logró definir detalladamente el programa arquitectónico, los materiales y tecnologías a utilizar necesarias para el funcionamiento del centro de convenciones. |

To achieve the above, the creation of a Convention Center at the National University of Trujillo is proposed to offer an adequate and comfortable space for academic, cultural and commercial exhibitions, promoting cultural and social interaction both at the university and in the La Libertad region. In addition, such equipment aims to create a suitable and comfortable space for academic, cultural and commercial exhibitions, to promote tourism, generate employment and improve the local economy.
