Se empleó un cuestionario validado a todos los cuidadores y para obtener los resultados se empleó tablas estadísticas con sus respectivos porcentajes. Resultados: El nivel de conocimiento según edad, los de 41 - 55 años obtuvieron niveles altos con un 75%, según grado de instrucción, los de superior el 71%, Según el género, los varones el 69% un nivel de conocimiento bueno respondiendo el cuestionario, por lo que se puede asumir que el resultado según el estudio es REGULAR. Conclusión: Por lo tanto, la edad el grado de instrucción y el género si son factores que influyen en el nivel de conocimiento acerca de la higiene bucal en cuidadores responsables de personas con habilidades diferentes
